Forever Bare BBL™ uses the most high tech light on the market, BBL HEROic, to zap hair follicles without harming your skin. Unlike traditional methods that blast energy all at once, our technology delivers a low, gentle energy in multiple pulses. This progressive heating raises the follicle temperature just right for hair removal, while the sapphire plate on the handpiece keeps your skin cool before, during, and after.
ARE YOU A CANDIDATE?
Forever Bare is appropriate for most skin tones and hair textures.
For the best results, hair needs to have dark pigment—brown to black. Blonde, grey, or white hair won't effectively absorb the laser energy, so the treatment won’t have a great result on those hair colors.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
- Avoid extended sun exposure for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
- Stop use of tanning products in the 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Arrive to your appointment with clean skin in the area of treatment, free of any makeup and moisturizers.
- Please ensure you have shaved the treatment area within 24 HRS before your appointment.
Your Look & Co provider will cover all information before your treatment to go over any additional requirements to ensure you get the best treatment possible.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
- Avoid products/cleansers with glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or benzoyl peroxide for 7 – 10 days post treatment.
- Apply sunscreen (minimum of SPF 30) before and after treatment to protect your skin
- The area treated may be red and swollen.
- Do NOT scratch or scrub the area as this can lead to scarring.
HOW MANY SESSIONS NEEDED?
Typically, 3-6 treatments will significantly reduce hair in the treated area. However, the exact number will depend on the speed at which your hair grows and the color and thickness of the hair. Your provider will customize the perfect plan just for you.
